Ming's mindscape is a sprawling southern island city - her city. Numara looks as though Grecian elves had built Venice, a white city full of columns and cut through with canals. In Ming's mind, the place truly is a paradise, with no hint of weathering or a less than idyllic and wealthy life for all. And while the city and palace are filled with people, none of them will speak, or do more than nod in greeting. And if one looks closely, the same faces are repeated over and over again.
