[Video/Action for Violet City] Sept 20th
Oh my!
[Ming is down by the water in Violet City, looking very cheerful and flushed. Her Lapras is visible in the water behind her.]
I feel particularly wonderful this afternoon! Violet City's just lovely, really, we've been having a delightful time! Except for my Hoothoot, but I don't think he's ever happy. I acquired him accidentally - I tried to set him free, but he wouldn't go! He didn't even like the aerial show. One would imagine he'd enjoy that.
But I'm feeling terribly social. I haven't the faintest idea what's come over me!
[Violet City's locally made 'grape juice' is what's come over her.]
Oh! Tell me about your adventures in this world? I'd love to hear them. I adore a good adventure!

[Currently, that brings a laugh from her. But in all fairness, she's only ever vaguely sure of what she even is in the first place.]
I can control all the elements, water's simply what calls strongest to my heart. I live by the sea, back home. I've never heard of 'anima'.
[action]
Skin, bones, and muscles, mostly. [Because she doesn't seem too bothered, his tone is light, carefree.] Were you always that way? Or was there something before your body was magic?
[Emil's feet lightly kick beneath the surface as he nods.]
I never did either, before he told me. I guess it's all different between worlds. And I used to live by the sea, too! Or...near the city that was by the sea, anyway. Sometimes I could still smell it on the breeze, if I went outside... It was nice.
Re: [action]
Oh, I've long had a body made of flesh and blood, but a body's simply a shell. That essence that is me is purely magic. In my first world, my native world, I didn't have a body of any sort at all! Only I don't remember it. But I think the Shining World is gone now, anyway.
[What must it have been like, to be pure, sentient magical energy? What had her home world truly been like? She supposes she'll never know. Oh well.]
Oh how wonderful! My capital city is right on the shore. I can't be happy without the view of waves out my windows, I'm afraid.
[action]
[Gosh, and she's forgotten things, too. He feels a little bad though, questioning her like this when she's talking so easily. He'd have to make sure to speak with her another time and make sure it's okay to keep going with that conversation.]
Every city I've been to here so far has had water by them, haven't they? That's good, even if they must all be really small in comparison. I hope it keeps that up, for you.
[action]
[Jansen had once asked, when well in his cups, whether she was an angel or an alien. She'd only been able to shrug unhelpfully.]
Your world has magic, I assume? And oh yes, the amount of water's just wonderful. Kotone enjoys it, as well.
[action]
[His experience with the King was not enough apparently. :( Gotta get better at dealing with these important people.]
It does... But it's not exactly a normal thing there. I can use magic, and so can my friends, but all of us are kind of...weird. A lot of people don't know how to deal with it. [Even if a lot of it came naturally to him, learning about it wasn't easy.] Kotone is...your pokemon?
[action]
[Which, she realizes, is rather exactly what the young man is saying himself. She nods emphatically.]
In some parts of my world, it's the same. People don't understand. Oh, yes! Kotone is my Lapras. It mean's the sound of a harp's song.
[action]
[Emil smiles, going back to wiggling his tones underneath the water.]
That's really pretty... Do you like music?
[action]
[Even if her explanations were sometimes impossible to decipher - Sarah is an odd one. But utterly brilliant, and the only one of them left who remembers their original world.]
Oh I adore it! I play stringed instruments, the harp is my favorite! I miss it terribly.
