[Video/Action for Violet City] Sept 20th
Oh my!
[Ming is down by the water in Violet City, looking very cheerful and flushed. Her Lapras is visible in the water behind her.]
I feel particularly wonderful this afternoon! Violet City's just lovely, really, we've been having a delightful time! Except for my Hoothoot, but I don't think he's ever happy. I acquired him accidentally - I tried to set him free, but he wouldn't go! He didn't even like the aerial show. One would imagine he'd enjoy that.
But I'm feeling terribly social. I haven't the faintest idea what's come over me!
[Violet City's locally made 'grape juice' is what's come over her.]
Oh! Tell me about your adventures in this world? I'd love to hear them. I adore a good adventure!

Could you perhaps buy your Hoothoot a treat? That might lift his spirits.
(Video)
I gave him one. More than one! He's just a sour and surly creature. I ought to call him Kaim.
(Video)
I fear the more you talk of how surly he seems, the more charming he becomes!
(Video)
Look at this unhappy creature!
[Ming leans out of frame and lifts a particularly grumpy looking Hoothoot into her lap.]
(Video)
But that little Hoothoot...
Sansa beams, unable to hide a soft giggle.) He looks like he needs all the affection you can spare!
And perhaps a nap.
(Video)
I didn't even mean to catch this little fellow, but he was driving me to shattered pieces with his hooting! All night! I couldn't fall asleep. But then he wouldn't leave me!
[The Pokemon in questions grumbles a rough sounding 'hoot' and glares into the 'gear.]
I think he likes you...as much as he seems to like anything!
Forget the adventures! You need to gather up some people and play the King's Game right now!
[He proceeds to shove two thumbs up into the feed before continuing.]
But you should really find your pal, pronto! And maybe make a few more while you're at it. Trust me, there's nothing more fun than playing the King's Game when you're feeling like this.
But I don't know where he is! We aren't those sorts of companions, you understand. Though he is quite handsome, as far as men go.
What is the King's Game? Is it like croquet? Kings are terrible at croquet, in my experience.
[The one he more than likely made up.]
Now, the King's Game is a magical game where you take a huuuge group of your friends and get a whole bunch of chopsticks. You gotta take those and write a number on the bottom, all of 'em except one! That last one gets colored red. You with me so far? One person takes the chopsticks and holds them by their bottoms so that everything's all hidden. That way it's a surprise when everyone picks one! The person who picks the red chopstick is officially the king and gets to call out a number, giving that person a special kingly degree! They have to do what the king says after that.
Now, I don't mean to brag, but I am amazing at this game.
[She blinks, perplexed. Why is she having so much trouble grasping this concept? She focuses on what she understands. Goodness, she feels not herself! What part of mortality is this?]
Oh. Well, I haven't many friends, I'm afraid. Fewer here!
[And Roy seems to do what she asks without needing some magical red stick.]
W-What...but...h-how? You're the queen, you should have a ton of friends!
[It didn't make sense, every story ever made it seem like everybody LOVED kings and queens. This must be some kind of mistake.]
Then it's settled! We can totally be friends to make up for it. As the king, I demand it.

Um, pardon me, miss... You're okay, right?
[She definitely seems okay, but maybe a little too okay.]
[action]
[action]
But a...good sick bee. [His usual need to investigate the odd not-mortal/human is on pause for the moment.] Are you with anyone here? Just in case you need me to get ahold of somebody.
[action]
[In her thousand years of existence, Ming has drunk alcohol all of twice. A single drink each time.]
Oh, I see my companion headed my way! But I assure you, I'm in no need of assistance!
[action]
Good... Um, I'll still be here, if you don't mind. My name is Emil.
[He didn't have much experience with people who'd been drinking, but he figures having someone around is always a good idea, no matter how fine you were.]
[action]
[Ming simply waves an assurance that's she's comfortable and settled making a new friend. Which currently is a much more appealing prospect than it usually is. Maybe she'll stop forgetting her magical energy is useless here, and not turn to the water every so often to gesture and hum uselessly.]
I'm Ming, Ming Numara. It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Emil.

Thankfully it doesn't take long.]
Ming, there you are.
action
[Ming has simply been enjoying herself, chatting over the Network and with the nice young man who stopped by to see if she was alright. And enjoying the local 'juice'.]
I've been here! It's quite lovely. The sea always calls to me, but I couldn't resist it any longer!
action
[He gets close enough to see, and to see what she's been drinking.]
action
[Ming laughs. While the bottle beside her is a glass one, there's nothing to immediately indicate it's alcoholic. Which is how she's gotten into this situation in the first place.]
There are no Lapras here. In fact, there hardly seem to be any anywhere! I don't know how I'm going to find a partner for Kotone.
action
[Those orange fish pokemon seem harmless enough. Why couldn't he have caught one of those when he went fishing?]
You can make 'go on an expedition to find another Lapras' one of your goals in this place.
[Roy doesn't see why you would want more sea monsters, but Kotone is much nicer than his Tentacool.]
action
[Ming pats the blanket she's sitting on, inviting Roy to join her.]
Yes, I surely must, if I'm expected to breed my Pokemon! She can't do that all by herself. Not to any success, at any rate!
[She giggles, eyes a bit impish.]
